There are many therapeutic benefits to a regular yoga practice during pregnancy. Private yoga lessons will help moms-to-be find peace and balance, as well as prepare for labor and birth. Group sessions also available upon request.Prenatal Yoga, Pixabay, Comm Use

What to Expect
The Prenatal Lesson will last one hour: 45 minutes of asanas (poses) and 15 minutes of relaxation and meditation. You will learn breathing and vocalization techniques and will stretch and strengthen the body through the asanas. This class will help you relax, as well as mentally and physically prepare for labor and the miracle of childbirth.

Prepare for Peace
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in. Avoid heavy meals 1-2 hours prior to class. Contact your doctor prior to starting any exercise program.

What to Bring

  • Yoga Mat
  • Pillows and/or Yoga Blocks
  • Bottle of Water
  • Yoga Strap (Optional)
  • A sweater or blanket or towel (Optional)
